New concept ideas for album covers

Due to the band name “Picasso’s Enemies.” The images below for our video magazine as well as album where used as a new influence of Picassos Art on our band. The abstract images will be used to create new images through using different sections of each picture to create a build up of one. An example of this is building various layers from various pictures in order to make one large front cover. As well as this, we will create in Photoshop pictures within pictures to show art is created inside more art. Our previous album cover created and developed in Photoshop was adequate however we chose to create a more aesthetically pleasing look for our album cover in order to entice and encourage more eyes from our target audience and hopefully entice a new customer and fan base. This decision was also taken as it takes the bands name and image as well as taking audiences previous awareness of this artist and encouraging the image of there band through using the bands name to replicate this.

The bright colours here, will be used in our album cover to be eye catching to an audience and stand out amongst other CD's in store. It also takes into account the image and nature of a fun lovign band into account.

The build up and abstract of this face will be an influence for our album in which we will build up various layers from various pictures taken to create one large final layered one, that will appear and take on the characteristics of Picassos abstract art work.
